About Mario

Mario Avila is a proud lifelong resident of Albuquerque, driven by a deep-rooted passion for his city and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals. Coming from a family of police officers, Mario has inherited a strong sense of service that informs every aspect of his work.

With over 24 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, and banking, Mario brings a high level of professionalism and integrity to every real estate transaction. Over the past seven years, he has built a successful career in commercial real estate, new home construction, and residential sales—earning the trust of clients through attentive listening, genuine care, and a results-driven approach.

As a native Albuquerquean, Mario offers out-of-state buyers a valuable perspective on the city’s unique charm and potential. His local knowledge, combined with his strong business background, allows him to skillfully guide clients through every step of the buying or selling process.

Outside of work, Mario is an avid golfer and a lifelong fan of University of New Mexico basketball. He and his wife, Stephanie, have shared 20 wonderful years of marriage. A former ambassador with the Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance, Mario remains actively engaged in regional development efforts that enhance the city he proudly calls home.
